Eddy Current Inspection ECI

Eddy current inspection (ECI) is one of the least intrusive methods of non-destructive testing. Little surface preparation is required for Eddy Current Inspection (no requirement to remove coatings / paint) & ECI can be used to test items with irregular geometries, with the ability to detect very small defects / discontinuities located near or at the surface of the test material.

Eddy current inspection is becoming the first choice for owners for inspections on upper deck pipe supports on shuttle tankers to avoid the huge cost of MPI being completed at the shipyard.

All our inspectors have years of experience in eddy current inspection and are qualified to PCN standards.
